This beautiful bowl was produced by the Consolidated Glass Company as part of the Martele line. Designed by Reuben Haley, the bowl was produced in the late 1920's. The pattern is called 'Olives', though some feel they look more like plums... The bowl is listed in the Consolidated catalog as the #2746 Olive console bowl, and measures 8 inches in diameter. The color is referred to as French Crystal: high polish details against a satin finish background - named because of the Lalique quality this finish gives the glass. Perfect condition.
